FOOD SECURITY PROJECT/SERVICES: KASAKALIKASAN INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT(IPM) SEASON-LONG FARMER FIELD SCHOOL IN RICE, CORN, BANANA & VEGETABLES

The KASAKALIKASAN Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Season Long- Farmers Field School(FFS) IN BANANA(16 months), RICE(4 months), CORN(4months), and VEGETABLE. This is farmer's practical hands-on training.

Appropriate technology are applied and adopted from land preparation, seedbed preparation, planting, water/fertilizer/intergrated pest management & harvesting.

Facilitators/Scientists were experts from DA 7, Regional Crop Protection Center assisted by CAS Agricultural TEchologist/Technician as per specialized commodity.

Qualified farmer participants are determined by assisting technologists/technician.
